Vienna’s art scene is back from holidays with a lot of exhibition openings and more.
Ten emerging international curators, part of BLOCKFREI‘s annual curators-in-residence program Curators’ Agenda, visited viennacontemporary. Here’s what impressed them the most.
Vienna’s leading contemporary art galleries will be presenting specially curated exhibitions on the topic “Meine Herkunft habe ich mir selbst ausgedacht” [My Origins? I made them up]. The festival, coordinated and supported by the Vienna Business Agency and their creative centre departure, is on display from September 9 to October 15.
viennacontemporary brings together an unparalleled selection of galleries – a third of them from Austria. From September 22-25 at Marx Halle, exhibitors from Vienna and beyond will represent the Austrian art scene.
